It’s all in the detail

Fabric that’s like a grid of small pillows . . .

Polartec Power Air Mono is a new revolutionary knit construction that encapsulates air to retain warmth and reduce microfibre shedding.

The result is a performance fabric with advanced thermal efficiency that sheds up to 5x less than other premium mid-layer fabrics. Named “Mono” because of the fabric’s one-yarn construction the low-friction surface makes it perfect for layering up in the colder months whilst its high breathability makes it a great go-to piece during a summer evening with a chill in the air.

Fits like your favourite sweater . . .

The Mono Air Robe has been modelled on the traditional housecoat, which is designed to be worn throughout the day or night for warmth, comfort and relaxation (unlike a bathrobe or dressing gown which are designed to be absorbent and worn straight from the bath or shower)

We designed it to fit like your favourite sweater should and sized it to be worn over your day or night wear. The Mono Air Robe will become your go to layering piece from the moment you awake and the whole day through.

For any occasion . . .

We’ve slimmed it down from the traditional oversized, unflattering one size fits all gown that you’ve grown to know with regular robes and re-engineered it to fit like your favourite sweater should, with the cuff hitting just at the wrist and the body not feeling five sizes too big.

Think of it as more of a ‘house coat’ that you’d happily be seen lounging around in, or even caught short in when nipping to the shops.

Height adjustable belt loops . .

We all know that one size does not fit all, that’s why we’ve engineered The Mono Air Robe to have height adjustable belt loops, giving you the ability to adapt the fit for optimal comfort.

The belt loops are coverseam stitched into a cut and sew rear body panel which shows the fabrics gridded bed of soft small pillows. We’ve also made the belt double sided to, so you can opt for clean and slick or soft and contrasting look.

Shawl collar design . . .

The shawl lapel emerged from Victorian gentlemen's clubs where they originally adorned smoking jackets, which were a dress code requirementIn the mid 1800s, smoking after dinner became fashionable in London and men would often switch from their formal dinner jackets into a velvet or silk smoking jacket, worn with a shawl lapel, as a way to prevent the smoke from spoiling their clothes.

The shawl collar softens the robe and adds a touch of sophistication and class, making it truly versatile. So, whether you style it up, or down, lounging will never have looked so good.

Signature one piece back panel . . .

A signature style detail that we have implemented into The Mono Air Robe is our one piece back panel. This design, together with the fabrics 4 way comfort stretch creates a greater range of movement.

The design lines being more than aesthetically pleasing are an added bonus.
