SHIPPING


At ABSNT we know that the customer experience doesn’t stop at the checkout, we also know the good from the bad and have suffered ourselves as customers with unreliable and substandard delivery services, this is why we have chosen the Royal Mail (tracked and signed for shipping service) to be our delivery partner. We’ve found this to be the most efficient and reliable delivery service to help ensure your product arrives safely and hassle free.

Being a mindful business with a desire to have a low impact on our planet we will be dispatching orders once weekly on every Wednesday, orders placed after 4pm on a tuesday may be processed the following week (we understand you might want it quicker so you can opt for express delivery at the checkout. This will not only cost you, but also the footprint we’re trying to minimise as a brand)

ORDER PROCESSING

Transit Time: Please expect 2 business days transit time within the UK, and 3-11 business days for international transit. Delivery times do not include weekends or holidays.

Express Delivery: For UK customers only, the cutoff for express shipping is 9 a.m. GMT from Monday to Thursday. Orders placed before 9 a.m. will be sent on the same day for next day delivery. Orders placed after 9 a.m. will be processed on the next business day, an order placed on a Friday will be sent the following week.

CUSTOMS AND IMPORT FEES

When international orders reach their destination country, they may be subject to customs clearance procedures which may cause delays beyond original delivery estimates. Additional fees may also be incurred dependent upon the destination country’s import laws.

ABSNT is not responsible for the payment of any duties and taxes not already included in the original purchase price.

    Orders over £150 = FREE SHIPPING
    Orders under £150 = £5

    Expected delivery time frame = 3-11 days from dispatch.

  • Next Day UK - Royal Mail Express Delivery 24 Hours
    Any value order = £7

    Expected delivery time frame = 24 hours from dispatch.

EUROPE ZONES 1-3

  • Express International - Royal Mail Tracked and Signed
    Any value order = £16 flat fee

Expected delivery time frame = 3-11 days from dispatch.

International deliveries are sent via Royal Mail International Tracked or Tracked & Signed service. Royal Mail's delivery partner in your country may not offer a tracked and signed service.

Your local authority may apply import duties and taxes. It is a legal requirement that we declare the full transaction value of the contents of all packages.

You, the customer will be liable for any import duties, charges or taxes set by your delivery countries customs, ABSNT will not be liable for these additional charges.

If you return your order, please clearly write "Return - Failed Sale" on the outside of your package, otherwise we will be charged by UK customs and the amount of this charge will be deducted from your refund total.

Some things to know:

We do not ship to PO Box addresses.

Basket value does not include shipping fees.

Collection from the Design Studio is strictly by appointment only.

You will receive an email with tracking information once your order has shipped. After receiving your shipping confirmation, please allow 24 hours for the shipment status to update.

LOST SHIPMENTS

ABSNT is not liable for shipments that are lost in transit.

If your order status is marked as Delivered, please check all obvious areas of your home to ensure it was not left in a safe place, at a side door, porch, or behind your bins etc, and ask your neighbours if they may have received it for you. With the current situation we know that carriers will do all they can to ensure you receive your package safely and securely.

If you believe your package has been lost, please contact us via email (info@absnt.co.uk) and we will attempt to contact the carrier directly to help locate your package.

As a fraud prevention measure, under no circumstances will we be able to issue refunds for packages that are lost if they have been marked as delivered.

RETURNS

We endeavour to make sure that our product details, photography and sizing information are all fully reflective and as true to real life as possible in order to minimise any mis judgements when placing your order.

We offer refunds to customers if returns are received by ABSNT within 14 days of receipt by the customer. Refunds are generally processed within 7 days after we receive the returned items. Credit notes will be issued for goods received after 14 days of receipt by the customer (up to 28 days) which will be valid for 12 months from the date issued. Please ensure items are returned in new condition, unworn and unwashed, in original (undamaged) packaging, with hangtags attached. Items that are not returned in this manner may be rejected and issued a credit note for the refund amount.

When posting your item(s) back to us we strongly recommended you obtain proof of postage for your records, and insure the contents for their true value in case the parcel goes missing on its way back to us. Returned items that may become lost in transit without proof of postage will not be our responsibility and will not be able to be refunded.     

After goods have been inspected by us, you will either receive a full refund or credit note to the value of the purchase price minus the initial shipping price of    

£7 (UK) £15 (Europe) £30 (Rest of World) in the case of non-faulty items.

Returns from outside the UK

ABSNT will not accept customs charges incurred when returning items from outside of the UK. All packages should be clearly marked “Goods returned under warranty”.
